The behemoths have regeneration and godly hitpoints. This makes them very frustrating to kill. Why not just have massive hitpoints instead of regeneration? I always have found the behemoth's regeneration idiotic since 'zombies do not regenerate'. If it did it would regenerate it would be a 'ghoul' and not a zombie. <.<

If you want a tip for someone to solo it...
Get a crossbow, find a wall. I would welcome you to nuke any Behemoths that get stuck in Avalanche. Get a high essence pool, and then combine Dia and Poison while striking with your crossbow.

Get a high essence pool, and then combine Dia and Poison while striking with your crossbow. This works only for expirianced players. Not for new players who have been on server for only few days. There are 3 reasons. 1. They need bolts but they cannot make them enough. 2. The behemoth is HUGE and somehow it dodges most of the bolts or new players are just lousy shots (very likely) they have to roll over 8 to hit the thing. 3. Poison and dia aren't that easy to get cause they both cost 28 gold at starting area and for new players their effect is far too weak.

Add another spell slot and carry Boost Wis to increase the damage-per-essence efficiency of your Dia. Cast Boost at the beginning of combat and chain as many Dias together as you can before it expires. This will help you get more damage out of your essence pool.
This may work for Boost Int and Poison as well, but I've only done it with Boost Wis and Dia.

That is an option if you're strapped for skill points, but time spent memorizing is time lost while the buff is in effect, reducing efficiency; this is especially true if you have enough essence for two chains during the duration of two buffs.

I was referring to a repeat casting of the same buff.
