Having satellite internet, it messes it up badly, and when it comes to port forwarding for NWN I have no clue wtf to do if I'm going to try get around it. Used to be when I had dial-up there was no problems so... oh well. I tried this, but it didn't work, so if someone knows what I'm doing wrong... step-by-step instructions 4 dummies please. I've reserved 192.168.1.33 as my internal IP address for my computer, anyway, if that helps.

Did you set it as a static IP? What router and modem model numbers are you using? Does your ISP block certain traffic? Also go to www.speedtest.net to make sure you even have enough upload speed to host. I hosted on 0.5MB without too many issues but if you have less you may have problems. Also, as the host you probably won't be able to see the server in the list. You need someone outside of your network to check Gamespy and see if the server is online. You can also direct connect to the server using your external IP address. You can get this from www.myipaddress.comDon't forget the port number when direct connecting. It should be along these lines: 65.127.88.103:5121

I've set it so that my internal IP address of 192.168.1.33 is reserved for my computer, so hopefully that means its static. My external IP address seems to stay at 118.82.177.93 so thats fine as well... so I dont know, might be I have something the wrong way round in the first picture. The ports listed are the ones that are supposed to be open for NWN, apparently, but I dont know, maybe I've got the IP addresses around the wrong way for port forwarding. The type of router it is and the model number is in the first picture in the corner, Zyxel with that P-etc etc a little below it.

I don't know anything about your router brand so it's possible that's the issue. You should only need to forward the port the server uses. According to your screen shot, that's port number 5121.
Upload looks fine to me. I'd check with your ISP if they even allow you to do this sort of thing. If they do, then look at getting a Linksys WRT54GL or WRT54GS router. I've used both without any problems hosting.
