"Change Head" only appears under Advanced Options in the rest menu for adult humans and half-elves. Any other races, or humans/half-elves who take Small Stature as a profession, are unable to change their heads.
Judging by the effects of Small Stature, the bug is related to phenotypes rather than the actual race.

This one's actually not a bug. The other races don't have sequential heads (man that sounds dirty). So it's a little more complicated to set them up since we have to run through and pick out which ones we want selectable.

Can we pull a universal head changer from the vault then? CEP has one too, I'm sure.

www.dropbox.com/s/bk9ltjjamti3fpb/bodytailor.erfPulled from CEP v2.3. I've disabled eyes, wings, tails modification and brownie, wemic races for models. The 3 files you'll be interested in are: 1. Conversation: "bodytailor" If you want to make any additional modifications there. 2, 3. Creature: "btlr_male" and "btlr_female" You will need to place these somewhere safe that the players can get to, and probably an individual room with a closeable door for -each- model, so people making modifications don't lag others. They're already plot, and they won't kill people who accidently hit them (or hit on them. They're in the nude). Body Tailor creatures are found under NPCs -> Human in the Custom palette. This will allow players to: - Change their character's head as any playable race.
- Modify skin, hair, and tattoo colors.
- Add or remove tattoos.
- Change the phenotype between Large and Normal (pot-bellied and slender-ish).

Word.
What I'll probably do is integrate this into the menu so there's no need to go to a specific location and NPC to make the modifications.
Thanks, Xan.

While we're on the topic of the CEP changers, it's come to my attention that there is no way to dye clothing. If I remember correctly there are CEP 'tailoring' models that allow you to both dye and modify the outfit you have.

No problem, Zun, though I will point out a benefit of having the model is it allows you to see changes on the model before you commit to them. Could also be important if anyone happens to crash while modifying appearances. Other than that, should work fine either way. -Edit- Oh and it's probably less work for you if you just go with the models. -Second Edit, in response to Nammykun- Yeah, I was actually looking at that while packing up the body tailor. It's viable, but we'd need to be careful about profession items and what not. Was an issue at first even with the standard gear appearance modification system that's built into NWN crafting. We still can't change how the Knight's Armor looks, for instance, so you just have to live with that flamboyant, red cape everywhere.
