He stands with two sets of armor, two sets of shields, two sets of swords, and a mask. The man looked between the two sets of equipment. Red and black..... obsidian and gold - He puts back on Maka's old armor that has been repaired almost enough to no longer be labeled as hers, but it didn't matter to him.
The man walked onto the field and swung his broad sword in practice. Rudy paused. "This place has been quiet for so long... its hard to tell how many days between the last time I saw particular faces. Have they all gone, am I winding up alone again? Do I put on my own armor and push forth? What about my promise....?"
The man turned around and returned to the other set of armor, he thought more about the lack of people in the camp as he put his other set of armor on, armor that no one has ever seen him wear. He put down his broadsword and picked up his gold colored katana, then switched his shields. After sheathing his weapon he picks up the helmet and puts it on his head. "My life - I am the Guardian... of Reyna... of Gadget... of whatever is left that is good. My life is forfeit for the life of everything else."
The golden clad man stepped out of the inn, golden cloak flowing behind him. "Time to kill some bastard zombies."

Rudy stood on the rickety bridge leading into the front of the Gadget camp, sweating over the work of replacing old wood and nails in an attempt to lengthen the life of the bridge itself and the people who might be crossing it at an unfortunate time. The man still adorning Maka's armor would appear to be barely able to keep most of it on him. Much of it cracked, broken, or hanging.
"So, we tried water and thunder... I led the assaults for the first time, putting myself in the line of fire and placing the danger upon me. To little success, we found no artifact pieces. We still need Ice, Water, and Thunder...." He paused and looked up to the sky, then back towards Shea's house. He then started walking towards it, placing his hand on the stone walls. "....I'm sorry, Shea... I'm trying really hard.... so hard that I think i've bled more in the past week then any normal human ever has."
He paused as he spots Maka's house. "Maka... everyone seemed to go as you did. Just up and disappeared. I haven't seen Silowet, Vesil, Seth, Helios, Edgar, the old man looking for his daughter, Eris, and even Reyna herself.... for a long while now." He stepped towards the house - weaving through the trees. "Reyna?! Are you around?" With no answer he sighed.
Rudy leaned against the house. "How the hell am I going to do this alone... I can't turn into four people... and restoring Maka would likely take alot more then four people - not to mention I'm not a friggin' magic freak like Aiden..."
He reaches into his pocket and withdraws the keys. "I wonder - Hope.... hrm, I wonder if I can get in contact with him. I remember Maka had talk to him about getting his artifact pieces - would it be possible that the elf is still around. Perhaps, I can get him to exchange his artifact pieces this time since we did help his friend without his pieces last time - least as far as I understand."
He frowned. "Wait a minute, I wonder if I can talk to the bank manager... someone must have died a while back that might have stored a piece or two away. Gods lets hope so.... cause there isn't enough people about to save the people I need to save."
He stood up and set off towards the bridge - he patched up what he was working on before his distraction and head straight off to Erith. "I'm sure I could manage to offer him something for it.... even if it is repeated stops of food for the next year."
