The past few days have been hard on the Priestess of the wood, this was from current dialogue the second time she had hallucinated and saw her daughter. Now there were some connections it seems, at least from a logical standpoint... though she was a woman of faith, logic typically had no bearing.
1: Both times the hallucinations started in the Vault of Fire, regardless of where they Fully manifested themselves.
2: Both times it happened when the undead struck her.
Those were the commonalities.
This time was the first the Priestess could remember seeing her daughter, sitting casually ontop of the outhouse in the farmlands just outside of Jonza, near the crypts. The Sight and remembrance struck her soul deep...
- She awoke from her lengthy bath, which she had fallen asleep in, looking around she noticed her clothes had been washed and folded and laid in preperation for her, little drops of red stained the floor comming from the commons dorm across the hall. Looking around she clothed herself and collected her bag and staff from the cabinet. Prepped and clothes she slowly made her way out into the hallway of the inn. She checked Shea's room, her own room, and the commons finding no-one. Though the beds seemed to be neat and tucked as if they had never been used since their crafting. Down the steps she went looking around, the noises of civilization hit her... The gentle ruff of lughter and the noise of a tavern. She looked around spoting the backs of many people crowded around the bar and the fire as well as the tables and chairs.
The peopel were chuckling and laughing and carrying on conversation in a language the priest did not understand, but this did not matter. There were people here! In the Tavern! The house was full of survivers!
"Thank the Mother."
She carefully continued down the steps, out of the corner of her eye she swore she saw Shea passing out drinks and Maka carving into meat for the dinners of the patrons. When she turned to spot them directly they seemed to not be there.
She made her way to the bar looking over at the figures next to her, she smiled and nodded in a greeting. The figure was drinking a deep red drink, then turned looking at Reyna spouting some akward nonsensical gibberish. The man seemed like any other man.. sans one issue... Reyna could not make out the man's face... she was sitting but a foot away from him and could not make out the mans facial features....
Stepping back she walked toward the fire, she spotted the sandy blonde locks of Sierra.... It had to be another hallucination... Something was not right...
" Mama.... There you are Mama"
She clenched her eyes shut a moment rubbingt he bridge of her nose then the sudden feeling of two arms wrapping around her legs
"Mama, Your awake! Papa's outside working on arrows for hunting Mama"
Hallucinations ... don't feel... this.. this she was real?! Reyna looked down at her daughters head which was firmly planted in Reyna's robes. Dropping her staff to the ground she kneeled down hugging her daughter close, the tears fell freely as the faceless patrons of the tavern all seemed to turn and look at the precious little family...
"Mama.. Whats.. wrong?"
Still crying Reyna hugged her baby girl to her chest buring her own face into her daughters shoulder... " You.. I .. thought.. you were gone baby... I missed you sooo m... uch..."
"Mama... I'm not gone.... We will always.. be... together"
The little girl reached bback and buried her teetch into the neck of Reyna's jugular tearing out the vital tube of life. The faceless shadows fell forward to help consume the priestess... Who tried so desperatly to scream .. though couldn't make a sound....
